The Beatles arrive in Dublin Airport to play the Adelphi cinema on Thursday the 7th November 1963.
Paul Russell greets the band and introduces John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and “Irish man” George Harrison to reporter Frank Hall.
An agitated John Lennon quips back “Hey listen we are all Irish!”
It was 60 years ago today… The Beatles came to Dublin to play 2 gigs in one day at the Adelphi Cinema

Looks to be frank hall with the microphone, any idea of who’s doing the introductions?
40 years after Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play.
My ma was there. She touched John’s shoe apparently
My aunt was at this. Has the stub framed and in her sitting room. Lovely bit of history
