  1. Dear Reddit: Is it fraud to lie on my résumé?

    YES! It is!

  2. The only thing left on my bingo card is imprisonment.

  3. When the judge is communicating with the court reporter, he is probably telling her to jot down his observations of guilt while listening to Trump’s testimony. She is taking his notes. Donald Trump thinks he’s winning but he is toast

  4. He looked like he was going to cry when he walked out of the court room, and refused to talk to reporters. Trump was a shade of red orange I haven’t seen since he was flush with covid.

  5. “‘Intend’ doesn’t mean we will do it,” he specified.

    Smh

  6. His business empire is cooked. The only thing left is jail. Let’s hope we cross that barrier soon.

  7. Trump: How dare you accuse me of doing a crime. This is a witch hunt! Also, I did a crime.

  8. “Trump essentially admitted on the stand that these financial documents were produced with the express intent to induce lending…”

    Oops!

  9. If there’s any weight behind this, and it does seem there is, then this means Trump has defrauded banks.

Now, I could be wrong about this, but one of the dumbest things anyone could ever do in this world is get between a bank and their money.

  10. Not because it was a good business with sound management and good strategy, but because they falsified basic accounting.

  11. Put him jail already; didn’t his ex lawyer and chief financial officer go jail for less?

  12. My wife and I had to induce labor… is that the same thing?

  13. So…. he pays a fine (which his cult will fund)? Then starts another company in Florida. What are the actual possible ramifications?

  14. Leave him with just Mar a lago. With “a valuation in the billions” it’ll be hard to argue the court took everything from him.

  15. I can’t stand the media talking about “is this his strategy?”

There is no strategy. Just like when he was President he just said and did whatever popped into his stupid mind at the moment and everyone had to scramble and pretend that was the plan all along.

  16. One thing about Traitor Trump,he always lies,he can’t help himself.

  17. Every time Trump opens his mouth he either confesses to a crime or commits a new crime. And I love every word he spews from his facial sphincter

  18. It’s a bold strategy, Cotton. Let’s see if it pays off for ’em.

  19. Some posters tend to forget he has already found guilty of the crime. This trial is about financial punishment.

  20. Numbers don’t lie. That’s why his lawyers have very little to defend themselves with other than attacking the judge and making a mockery out of the trial

  21. But I’ve been doing this same thing for years and never been caught before… oops

  22. Being that he didn’t *have* to testify AND the fact that if he didn’t, didn’t honestly matter because the judge could have *assumed* that this was true without his testimony….being that he has already been found that he committed fraud…..does this actually change how the case was gonna go?

    I don’t think so.

  23. All of this being said, he still may be the next president. Ugh

  24. But they want a mistrial over the judges ethics. lol

  25. Great exchange: Trump babbles on the stand like a three year old. Prosecutor waits like a patient parent for Trump to run out of steam and then delivers the perfect post tantrum put down: “Are you done?”
I’ve seen and heard many a mom use that phrase with a toddler who is petulant and throwing a frenzy…

  26. This is our front runner? What is wrong with Americans? I feel like I’m missing something.

  27. Does anyone know what the piece of paper said, that he pulled out of his pocket and requested to read on the stand?

  28. And this my friends is why a lot of defense attorneys don’t want their clients taking the stand
