He’s resigning because he sees an opening to leave and it’s as good a time as it’s going to be for it, not (just) because of the corruption scandal. Constant news about the healthcare system’s state, education, inflation, taxes, the current failure of the yearly state budget and the over the years phrase of “turning the page on austerity” when they’ve only made things worse.
