  1. Sadly there’s no real alternative for PS/PSD, so the crooks will stay in power

  2. Say hello to one of your future leaders, european union citizens. I’m sad that you will have to put up with him, but I’m happy we wont have to suffer alone in our little rectangle.

  3. Mark my words, he is going to succeed Charles Michel next year.

  4. So proud of my country for being strong enough for our politicians to completely disregard corruption scandals and keep business as usual

  5. Maybe next prime minister can import a million more migrants so that we never lack uber eats drivers again. Lets face it nothing says society is going in the right direction like not knowing how to cook or not even being able to go to a restaurant to pick your own food.

  6. He resigned after one corruption scandal? There is a sight for sore eyes…

  7. Lololol.

Caught on the phone trading favor. Doubtful anything comes of this (ie real consequences for Costa)

Doubtful that the Portuguese voter is smart enough to finally rid itself of the cancer that is PS.

  8. He’s resigning because he sees an opening to leave and it’s as good a time as it’s going to be for it, not (just) because of the corruption scandal. Constant news about the healthcare system’s state, education, inflation, taxes, the current failure of the yearly state budget and the over the years phrase of “turning the page on austerity” when they’ve only made things worse.
