Northern Lights at Dryslwyn Castle

  1. I captured this image on Bonfire Night around 9pm, just south of Dryslwyn Castle here in Carmarthenshire. It was quite faint to the naked eye and hardly any colour, but with a 15 second exposure this is what my camera picked up.

    Some pointers if you want to have a go at seeing this for yourself. I recommend downloading the Aurora Alerts app and follow SpaceWeatherLive on social media which gives out forecasts for the northern lights.
