Might be a show, might be a movie, might be a book. I do know that there are 4 books, one of them does detail life before the accident that killed the entire crew.

I’m betting it’s gonna be a ten episode mini-series called “Gazpacho Soup: The Fall and Continuing Fall of Arnold Judas Rimmer.”
Those poor dudes are never gonna be able to get home for real, are they?
Or was there a proper ending I missed?

Basically Grant and Naylor resolved their RD rights issue and agreed that they both can make RD content, however this announcement is regarding Grant’s plan for a prequel of sorts and will likely be a book or something of that nature (not tv) because Naylor is the one who’s been writing the RD television series for quite some time now. There is a blurb at the bottom saying Naylor says there’s interest in another RD television release, though working around everyone’s schedules will prove a challenge.
