Scotland Considers Pardon for Thousands of Accused ‘Witches’

  1. If they did this, would there also be a case for reparations? The persecution of supposed witches looks like one of the first genocides of the modern era, along with those of natives in the Americas, and resulted in the death of much women’s knowledge and the tearing apart of peasant cultures.

What we really need is for our modern nation-state-concept to go and find a public square and spill its guts there with a sword

How much can we see of its making and still wish too push on with the project?

  2. This is just funny.

Imagine a bored politician in the scottish government saying “huh, how do I make myself usefull for the next months?” And he comes out with “Lets pardon the witches!”
