Is it safe to say Donnarumma struggles with shots in this area ?

I used to play goalie and I swear there is a name for these type of shots because it’s a deadly zone. Since you have to decide in a split second to dive of to stick out a leg. Anyways I’ve noticed that while he makes amazing saves , a ton of goals I see him concede are in this zone and for many of this it looks like he could have done better . Its like he auto defaults to a dive when he should use his hands . is this a reasonable observation, Thoughts ?
