Was this supposed to be a close race? Asking from NY
“Here’s how this spells trouble for Biden in 2024”
State house or Congress?
Awesome!
>NORFOLK, Va. — Democrat Jackie Glass has won the race in Virginia’s 93rd House of Delegates district, fending off a challenge from Republican John Sitka for the newly-drawn Norfolk seat.
As of around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, Glass was leading the race with 76% of the vote, compared to 24% for Sitka.
Based on total voter registration numbers alone, the 93rd District is the largest of Norfolk’s House of Delegate districts. Located at the center of the city, the district encompasses precincts previously spread across four different house districts.
So was this residtri ted to be more fair after gerrymandering? Anyone know? These articles are so thin.
We’re getting closer and we can taste Youngkin’s tears of defeat.
Norfolk is solidly blue so a new district that consolidated the bulk of it will heavily favor the D whether the candidate is an incumbent or not.
In the southern Hampton Roads area, Portsmouth is also solidly blue, Virginia Beach is quite purple (used to trend red) and Chesapeake is red-toned. My Senate district was brought together with parts of a couple others and as a result the two incumbent Democrats from those other previous districts had to face off in the primary.
Another small victory, but it is a victory nonetheless.
Good job, less republicans is what this country needs.
Is that guy the pedo that just got arrested? There’s so many on them running Republican I can’t keep track.
Love to see it
Glass is a treasure! She is so great.
It’s looking like a bad night for the R’s. Some other highlights:
Kentucky Governor- Democrat Andy Beshear wins re-election. Trump won Kentucky in 2020 by a 26% margin and he endorsed Beshear’s challenger, Daniel Cameron.
Ohio Issue 1 to put abortion rights in the constitution – Passed with plenty of room to spare.
Ohio Issue 2 to legalize Recreational Cannabis – Passed easily
Mississippi Governor – Looking like a closer race than you’d think for that state.
People are mad and they’re showing up to vote.
Yeah Miss Glass!
Kormacki not in light khaki……
Yeah!!! 🕺
Well, damn. Anyone open the New York Times at all? Any new polls?
Hooray! Congratulations on winning another seat for someone who actually wants to govern for the people.
A democrat beating a Republican is always good
Let me guess, ole John there won’t concede, crying stolen election, blah blah blah…..
