  1. Excellent news. This was one of the key swing districts for Virginia Senate. These elections are looking pretty good so far for the Dems

  2. Man are those some blue blooded candidate names. Lol.

    Way to go Virginia!

  3. This can’t sit well with the Washington Examiner’s subscriber base.

  4. Great. I love it. But goddamn, these are some interesting names.

  5. Sick how ousting the obgyn from her seat protects abortion rights.

  6. >Dunnavant had presented herself as a centrist on [abortion] and ran on a more permissive stance compared to Youngkin’s 15-week limit he has united most of the party behind. The Virginia Republican proposed a roughly 16-week ban with more lenient exceptions than Youngkin’s three: rape, incest, and life of the mother.

I love (/s) how a 16-week limit in abortions is somehow more centrist than a 15-week ban. What about 15-weeks and 1 day? Can you call yourself a centrist?

  7. Looks like MAGA will lose the House in VA 52 Dems to 48 Rep.

And the Senate is still in Dem hands .

Big losses almost everywhere for MAGA.

The expectation was that the Rep would hold the House and possibly flip the Senate .

  8. The fact that non presidential election year elections usually favor republicans due to low turnout just shows, as a continuation for the past couple years, that Dems are motivated to activated.

  9. Looking forward to tomorrow’s NYT poll suggesting that dunnavent won and then their IG post where they profile five GOP voters who are upset by this upset

  10. The polls would have you believe democrats are screwed. But dems killed it tonight. They have killed special elections. When is the media gonna drop the democrats are floundering narrative?

  11. Gee, who’d have guessed that running on a platform of hypocrisy while stripping rights away from people and spewing lies would lead to a parties demise?
