Brilliant we are getting more high rise buildings in Dublin. Hopefully this sets a precendent and other high rises can spread in this area

I suppose trees growing through roofs of derelict housing brings great character to Dublin 8. Very ecologically friendly.
If some TD wants to block permissions for a development because it’s vulture funds from America then they should get the government to build houses and flat and new estates themselves on state owned land, with taxpayers money, that’s either sold at cost or rented to ordinary citizens not just on social welfare, at cost.
Because unfortunately those vulture funds are the only entity building properties. I’d rather have expensive accommodations than none at all.
Ridiculous to be building that high in a suburban area.
I wonder will there be further challenges? Hopefully some common sense will apply.
