It seems that they have changed the use of the old southern hotel from what was supposed to be a 90 bed nursing home to a refugee center.
I don’t think, unless plans are being put into place, that rosslare has the capabilities to service such a large volume of immigrants.
There is a meeting scheduled this Sunday at 3pm in St Patrick’s church to discuss it with the locals if anyone here is local and wants to have a chat about it.

I would think that such a large and purpose-built facility is exactly the kind of capability you need.

Poor Rosslare. I really feel sorry for local families who have this inflicted upon them and their community.
The next election will be won or lost on this catastrophe. How can we be so nieve.
And we wonder why we cannot free up hospital beds.
