[ESPN] Robert Lewandowski has failed to score in 6 straight club games for the first time since Dec. 2010 – Feb. 2011 (10 games with Dortmund). Lewandowski has 0 shots on goal and 0.86 xGoals in those 6 games in all competitions (since Sept. 26).

  1. The most shocking part of this is that we’ve only managed to provide 0.86 xG to our striker in the last 6 games. Horrifying levels of creativity and a lack of attacking plan, and it’s very evident when you watch us play.

  3. Overrated, if not for pendu fans calling for him to win ballon dor he’d be nobody. Entire career facing farmers in germany and backed up by bayern machine system. He’s a tapin merchant and that’s why tapinaldo fans were rooting for him. Barca has never been a classic N9 team and will never be. Suarez is miles ahead of him and will always be.

  4. I have the feeling that the signings and reinforcements have been more what could be brought, than the profile that was really needed.

    For example, if the idea was to play with dribbling wingers, you cannot end up playing with Joao Félix or Raphinha who have other virtues but not dribbling. Or if the idea was Foyth to be the full-back Kounde of the previous season, a strong, tall and defensive right-back, you cannot end up with Cancelo, who is short, offensive and very little defensive, in that position.

    In the end, the group is a set of profiles that are not exactly what was wanted, and that accumulate disadvantages that end up hindering the idea of the game.

    And that at an elite level is a huge burden.

Lewandowski is still an amazing player the problem isn’t with him, we are not providing him with good chances, we are not picking up his runs. it was better with dembele cause he was fast and can make a difference so it becomes easier for Lewy. We cant just hope that Yamal will carry our entire attack, Raphina maybe can help but Ferran on the side is not going to work since he can’t beat our outspeed his man, same with Felix these last games. We lack creativity bad, and just crossing isn’t going to solve our problems

  6. I can’t wait when Roque joins Barca and fans here won’t be able to tell why he isn’t performing.

    EVERY great striker has chances provided by their team. Barca attack line is just completely impotent. I can accept criticism of Lewandowski when he doesn’t score a 100%-er but this mindless hate for him not doing anything when he hardly has the ball passed is just so stupid.

    EDIT: every time this team had good flow and god period Lewandowski was immediately different player and started to score. But is you expect a pure 9 to rescue a team that can’t connect or create chances then you are setting yourself for disappointment.

    Some people are too attached to Messi, but he was not a player like Lewy or Haaland
