Yes we’ve noticed this at all price ranges. A bog standard high st meal for two is more like 100 quid than 80 and a 300 quid meal is easily 500. We eat out a lot less now as we would rather spend money on lovely things less often.
£150 a head is not ultra expensive for London. Up North yes but not London.
Restaurant prices have increased across the board but not sure what people expect. Most still have lower margins than before COVID due to their higher costs.
Don’t forget to add the service charge onto that too
Never forget that even though overall living standards are going down for average people, those at the top are still doing extremely well and getting huge pay rises.

This is just PR drivel to get Harden’s some coverage. 50 odd restaurants in the context of London is statistically insignificant.
The more depressing thing is where you can easily find yourself spending £100 a head in a central London restaurant and having a distinctly mediocre meal
At least generally the £150+ a head restaurants are consistently good
