    If they do give it to Russia better not give them now, it would be incredibly idiotic and its better to do it after the war so Russia can’t trick them.

  14. Does this not dilute the effect of the sanctions?

    The idea was that the oligarchs put pressure on Putin, which we know hasn’t happened but that is the intent of sanctions.

    Now, there may be less of desire to put pressure on because it adds a new layer of unlikely events that need to happen before the assets are unfrozen.
