  1. This is a good way to shut up critics. Tell them for the next UA aid package: Americans won’t pay a dime, it’s all on russia.

The precedent was set when Afghanistan’s overseas assets were seized to pay terror victims.

  2. It’s funny how ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR, but transferring assets from criminals and terrorists to a victimized nation is frowned upon. This fucking world makes no sense.

  3. This really burns the bridge between Russia and the West. Gonna be a real long time until economic relations are rebuilt.
Oh well…they will always have North Korea! 😄

  4. Article 1, Section 8. Just let us get them ourselves congress…

  5. Charlie Sheen says, “Winning!” and the Lannisters send their regards.

  6. Just to be clear the committee voted on approving the bill. It still has to pass the house and senate. We have another shutdown looming in 10 days so getting the house to do extra curricular activities would be surprising. But miracles might happen.

  7. > The bill is now to be considered by the US Congress.

It was not supported by congress, it was supported by a committee and is now going to congress.

  8. This is big money, WOW. $36.8 billion!

Love the wording too where they say that Russia can have the money back when they pay damages to Ukraine.

  9. Make Ruzzia pay!

ANY business with Putin’s Russia is a direct financing of international terrorism and shall be treated like that.
