We had a Sailboat in BC when I was a kid in the 80s, a pod surrounded us and kept bumping us to the left and to the right. A conservation officer at the time told my parents it was because a Sailboat (with a fixed keel) looks like a whale in distress from underwater., and that they were trying to turn the “whale” upright. We moved out boat into the interior and on a lake shortly after this incident.
Can we negotiate with them?
