Rick Santorum Says Quiet Part Out Loud After Republican Election Losses: Republicans are annoyed that democracy is working.

Former Senator Rick Santorum complained that the major election losses Republicans suffered are actually a sign of how “pure democracies” are a bad form of government.
Remember that another definition of Santorum is “the frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex.”
These guys should just move to a religiously fanatical country run by a dictator that punishes women and lgbtq+ people. Theyd be right at home
And here I thought their grossly gerrymandered districts that allow them to be overrepresented in congress that had said the quiet part out loud.
“Santorum whined Tuesday night”.
Isn’t that redundant, especially considering his infamous St. Anselm moment during his dubious flirtation of a presidential run in 2012; the “not the same thing!” rebuke moment.
Threadly apology from Pennsylvania for ever making Santorum relevant.
Nothing terrifies Republicans more than democracy.
Ted Cruz did the same thing several years ago. Prior to cheating their way to a SCOTUS majority a few rulings went against the GOP agenda and Cruz said he didn’t like the idea of the SCOTUS making such choices for the country.
They oppose democracy except in instances where they can bend it to fit their agenda.
The people that vote for them do not mind that approach at all and if asked will tell you that’s what the liberals do so it’s justified for them to do it too.
Anyone have a rag? There’s Santorum on my screen.
The definition of Santorum has come to define the GOP.
Yet another conservative forced-birth fanatic whines about the mainstay of democracy—consent of the governed—applying … *even if the governed disagree with the Republican War On Women!*
In referendum after referendum, a solid majority of voters—including those in some of the reddest of states—have clearly registered their disdain for the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2022 *Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization* ruling, which eviscerated the nearly 50-year federal judicial precedent affirming women’s constitutional right to reproductive freedom.
*Dobbs* author Justice Sam Alito’s shoddily rationalized paean to stripping women of a fundamental human right bears the imprimatur of a reactionary zealot who, with sufficient votes in hand to ensure the outcome, unloaded a heaping helping of rhetorical horseshit.
Every restoration of women’s rights within a state’s borders as occurred in Ohio is balanced by the sadness that women in so many red states are still shackled to forced-birth fanaticism of the ilk practiced in the state of Texas, where multiple jurisdictions have made it a crime to use area highways to transport a woman to obtain an abortion in another state.
*Dobbs* will go down in history and in jurisprudence as the *Dred Scott v. Sandford* of the 21st century.
Anyone who thinks rape is a gift from God, isn’t going to like democracy.
Abortion is sexy?
Why is he still weighing in on anything?
Frothy wants a repressive Christian dictatorship so badly. Basically Afghanistan with a slightly different book of insane superstitions.
Why is he relevant to any discussion about anything anywhere?
Conservatives busting out the surprised Pikachu face when they’re reminded that they are supposed to represent the people and their will.
“If conservatives become convinced that they can not win democratically, they will not abandon conservatism. The will reject democracy.” -David Frum
Stupid sexy abortions!
Imagine if politicians actually passed laws that the people wanted instead of trying to pass laws that allow them to enforce their beliefs onto others.
I vote for Rick Santorum to go the fuck away
The Democrats better put that in an ad and run it in a loop.
Remember when he caught himself halfway through calling Obama the n word? Pepperidge Farms remembers: https://youtube.com/watch?v=1jqkCU2RUVA&si=s745geaHlBKFASEy
Oh, that pesky Santorum. Always frothing at the mouth.
Let’s not forget that Ohio magas tried to change the rules in August with that scam special election so this would have needed 60% to win so I’m glad that lost and this won. They have no issues that are popular with most people in US so have to try all these tricks to force their way on us. That’s not what this country has ever been about so maga can keep losing as long as they keep up this stuff most of us hate.
Republicans hate democracy. They love fascism and dictators. T-Rump is exhibit #1.
Democracy is working DESPITE the hurdles built into the system by repubs. (Gerrymandering, making voting harder, limiting polling stations in urban areas, etc.)
They love Hitler but as he unfortunately DID declare war on the country – they have to publicly make Julius Caesar as the face of their fascist takeover ambitions.
Remember when he called Obama a “government n-word”? Pepperidge Farms does.
