I like Pete Buttigieg. He is smart, well spoken, and despite the clown(s) in the house who attribute all sorts of acts and omissions to him, he has a bright political future. I am glad he visited Kyiv.
I think after Ukrainian victory there will be a great rush to rebuild. This rapid rebuilding will require some innovation. I think Ukraine will become the laboratory for many new building technologies, 3-D printing among them. So far these technologies haven’t gained a foothold in the West partly because of the building codes and partly because of the intrenched interests. With the great rebuilding rush will come competition and the best technologies will prevail. I think the presence of American companies will be very important because soon we will need to rebuild our own infrastructure. The reports of how many US bridges don’t cut the muster are very concerning to me.
What’s Pete gonna do for Ukraine?
US doesnt have good public transportation. ehehe
Maybe to learn from Ukraine? lol
Hopefully he’s there to learn something because he’s been a massive failure in America.
Even as a conservative, I gotta respect the absolute hell out of any US politician who visits Ukraine. They all make me proud to be an American.
We can certainly help with wartime infrastructure, as we should. France had our back during our fight for independence. We had Frances back during WWII. Now we, France, and Britain have Ukraines back. Democracies gotta roll together.
Mayor Pete bolstering his international credentials 👀
Oh god, I hope Ukrainians don’t take too much advice from Americans for infrastructure unless they want 8 lane highways, traffic jams and highly inefficient suburban houses everywhere.
