This is great news assuming that Russia is still building a network of highways.
Mostly toll roads and for the delight of Russians “for the rich” (I only have read about Moscow-St. Petersburg bypassing Tver, msk1 ru, November 4). Whether the specs for transporting tanks on trailers are met … this could be subject of embezzlement. Someone else has to watch this.

Some of the mentioned Mil helicopters share the same jet engine with the (not in the article mentioned) Ka-50/Ka-52.
But the question for me was: “Why? What is doing Klimov?” the manufacturer of the jet engine for the helicopters.
Okay, the English Wikipedia about Klimov article also mentions a company with the name “Motor Sich”.
Sure helicopters. The workhorse of the Russian military air logistics should be wide range of Antonovs. There may be the question of “make or buy” about spare pats. The answer should be a “strong make”.
And of course the Il-76. But maybe the jet engine manufacturer Aviadvigatel has the same problems.
Pun find for me, Il-76, engines from Aviadvigatel based on Solovyov D-30: It is not only one Solovyov making hot air in Russia.
Meanwhile focusing on railroad is the right thing IMHO.

Unfortunately only in German, but the pictures are universal. Please regard the function to lift the “plowshare” for the case of stubborn road crossings etc.
