Does Vladimir Putin actually want an end to the war in Ukraine? An interesting commentary by the Russian political scientist Vladimir Pastukhov suggests that Putin is “addicted to war like a drug” and that continuing it indefinitely is essential for the regime’s survival.

  2. He got a taste of blood and liked it, and for me the most believable reason for the war was that he was bored, actually probably feeling nostalgic about his youth back when the 2nd Chechen war happened

  3. Wouldn’t that be like being addicted to something that makes you look incompetent, costs you virtually everything and leaves you with no worthwhile friends?

    Likely not and so Putin may wish to maintain a frozen war indefinitely to survive politically

  5. I don’t believe any of this . It’s more Russian government scare tactics to tey and get Ukraine to negotiating table .

    We get so much disinformation regarding what’s going on inside the Kremlin it’s hard to believe any narrative .

    Putin has been dead , prior to that we have been told he was severely ill with everything from Parkinson’s to stomach cancer sick and bed fast .

    Kadyrov has been claimed to be dead on multiple occasions.

    .Their economy has been going to collapse by a certain date in the future . After it does not happen by that we are given another date . They are running out of tanks and so forth .

    We get lied to by so called sources i. The Russian government, as much as their on citizens do .

  6. I don’t think he is addicted to war, but he does need the war to stay in power. And you know who else needs it? Zelensky, there will be no elections as long as there is the war. But, the president and committee could change it. But they won’t.

    Zaluzhny is the most popular guy in Ukraine and his closses allies have been Sacked and blown up with grenades. This shit is a getting dark, real faast.
