>Two Jewish schools in Montreal’s Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough were hit by bullets overnight, Montreal police confirmed Thursday morning.
The first incident was reported to police at 8:20 a.m. when a member of the United Talmud Torahs of Montreal Inc. found a bullet hole in a door of the school. The institution on Saint-Kevin and Victoria avenues includes an elementary and high school.
About 30 minutes later on Thursday, someone called 911 about a bullet hole found in the door of Yeshiva Gedola, a Jewish daycare, near the intersection of Vimy Avenue and Deacon Road.

>The schools were empty and no injuries were reported.
So sad. The rise of danger for Jewish people around the world is scary.
What the fuck did they think would happen when they allowed those vile, hate-filled anti-Israel rallies every weekend around Canada?
At least Europe got the fucking picture and banned them and arrested people.
Damn, in Montreal?
I never realised how many people hated Jews. Never expected this kind of response
But i thought people were protesting against israel, not the jews?
What the hell.
Time for everyone to make aliya and bear arms
Damn tf is going on in Montreal, I see so much shit from there this war
The schools were hit by bullets. That’s crazy that the schools would do that.
“Israel conflates anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism to delegitimize criticism of their human rights record!”, they said, as they shot up a Jewish school in Canada to “protest against Israel”.

This is what your ‘We are just anti-Israel’ sentiment does. If you don’t denounce Palestine in the same breath, it emboldens these people.
These protesters think they are joining what they think is a “noble” cause calling for the “liberation”of Palestine. What they don’t understand is that Hamas are the ones occupying the Palestinians, not Israel. They are simply supporting the murder of 1400 men, women and children. Disgusting…
This is absolutely fucking unacceptable.
Montreal is in a really tough spot because it historically has a very strong Jewish community but also a ton of North African/Muslim immigration in the last 30 years.

It’s crazy what Trudeau is turning this country into. His family is going to go down in history as the worst thing to ever happen to Canadians.
Jewish Montrealer here … holy hell we are literally thinking of locking down in our homes, shots on schools, students violently attacked in universities, posters torns and Mezuza from our doors. Add to that acts of vandalism and a local very popular imam calling for killing Jews …yeah it’s tense right now
I haven’t seen any Jews in Canada hold up signs calling for a muslim genocide, try to attack schools or mosques or celebrate palestinian deaths. However, I’ve seen celebrations following 1400 Israelis being brutally murdered including elderly and children, synagogues vandalized, students at Jewish schools harassed, attacks on Jewish businesses, etc.
There’s nothing we can do from here to solve the conflict but there’s one side that’s been behaving and respecting Canadian rule of law and the other has done everything possible to show that they don’t belong here.
The first time in my life I ever encountered open anti-Semitism was 40 years ago in Montreal.
