A new series about Poland’s lesser-known regions, or rather the people who make those places unique – celebrating local cuisine, ingredients, adventures, passions and sports.

Żuławy Wiślane (plural from “żuława”, meaning fen), in English known as the Vistula Fens, is the alluvial delta area of the river Vistula, in the northern part of Poland. It is a flat and deforested region comprising wetlands and agricultural plains, with much of the land being situated below sea level (lowest point is 1.8 metres below sea level).

Welcome to this first episode and hope you’ll enjoy the journey!
English subtitles are available.
