I have to do this project for school where I write about an inspirational person from Northern Ireland. The problem is that no matter who I start researching, there’s always a bunch of negativity and hate associated with them for one reason or another.
That is, apart from Dennis Taylor. He’s the one person I’ve started researching where no one on earth seems to have a single bad thing to say about him.
I don’t really know much about him or snooker though, but I think he might be worth studying and learning about and telling his story, unless anyone knows of someone better?

Definitely had me thinking Dennis Taylor was dead before I opened the post properly.
Joey Dunlop was loved by all and the bikes are a bit more interesting than snooker imo.
Came to say rest in peace until i started to read.
RIP in peace.
Pat Jennings?
Up the urps
Played poker at the same table with Dennis Taylor in Vegas, the Americans couldn’t understand a word we were saying and didn’t understand a single joke we made, brilliant.
Good choice.
Great personality and a true gent
Snooker legend to ever grace these shores was Alex Higgins the hurricane,Dennis Taylor was a 1 hit wonder and no1 ever talks about his victory as he left it abit late
RIP Dennis!
