>Palestinians fed up with the dire conditions in Gaza are turning on Hamas and venting their anger by attacking police officers and publicly denouncing the fearsome terror group.
>Previously unimaginable scenes of rebellion against Hamas have erupted in recent days, four witnesses who spoke on condition of anonymity told the Associated Press for a report Thursday.
>In one incident, a man reportedly grabbed a chair and smashed it over the head of a Hamas police officer who berated him for cutting ahead in a breadline.
>Angry crowds also hurled rocks at officers who cut in front of a line for water, then beat the cops with their fists until they ran away, a local journalist said.
Big if true, I suppose.
I mean, I get it …. but I also can’t see it happening. Honestly, I cannot imagine what they’re going through, but if they start venting then I’m afraid of what Hamas will do to them. Although, if a large amount begin to revolt, then I’m not too sure if Hamas can contain them and stop it.
Still, I shudder at the thought of what Hamas would do to dissenters and “trouble makers.” Man, conditions must be horrid in there, but it was all worth it! That is what Hamas would say, since killing Jewish people is their only goal. Instead of making the lives of their people better, they choose to make it as bad as possible. Israel’s hands aren’t clean in any of this, but this whole fiasco is Hamas …. Hamas chose this, so now their people suffer.
At last 💡🤔
Good!
Turn on them, report their whereabouts and rebuild without them after they have been annihilated.
As they should. Shouldve turned on Hamas the instant they said that Palestinians are UN/Israel’s problems.
Good news, but shows a certain hypocrisy in the lack of action when the people being killed are “others”
Finally, the only true end to the Gaza conflict is when the civilians turn on Hamas.
Is this truly Palestinians turning on Hamas officers, or, is it civil order breakdowns under horrific pressures?
In the Gaza maelstrom, adults & kids starving, homes bombed daily, expect *some* people will crack, grab what they can, jump lines, and reject authorities.
Aid to Gaza civilians.
By which I mean we offer them weapons against Hamas lol
Brilliant news. Hopefully they manage to throw off Hamas oppression and build a sustainable government that can achieve peace.
That’s a misinformation. People in Gaza hates hamas and what they are doing, hamas is simply a dictatorship in Gaza and can kill anyone who oppose them.
But after Israel heavy bombing and killed hundreds of kids and innocent people, they are now support them so they might stop Israel from killing them more or even avange them. Hamas will have more recruits thanks to Israel stupidity.
Before the bombing lots of arab people were coming closer to Israel (and they hates Hamas for multiple reason it will take me time to explain) but after that shit show and what they saw Israel doing they started to support Hamas and hated Israel.
This whole thing is Hamas’ fault. The sooner they are gone the sooner people can rebuild and move towards a Palestinian state.
Good. Hamas is very largely responsible for the complete hell scape that those poor people are living in. Hopefully Israel can assassinate the entire Hamas leadership especially those pieces of shit living in opulent luxury and assumed safety in Qatar.
Palestinians need to start waking up more and realise Hamas doesn’t care for them. If any sympathy or support remains after this is all done, they’ll just re-elect themselves into the same problem and everyone will continue treating them as dangerous tools with how easily they had let themselves be used and deceived.
Hey hamas, sharing is caring…?
It’s about time. Hamas is not their friends.
If Gazans were really turning on Hamas, you’d think the author would be able to find more than four anonymous people… Could you imagine being a reporter on Bastille Day, 1789 and being unable to find anyone willing to go on-the-record against the crown?!
