Oh no, the underdog is fighting unconventionally.
Doing such a thing marks other medics as possible targets, it’s not smart.
The sad part is this might have been filmed a dif angle and we’re going to see “IDF shoots at medic”
I mean they shot at the medic first lol, defend yourself!!
Well the vest doesn’t mean he is a real medic
Question:
Does this make the medic a valid target according to the international ROE?
I think it should.
You help the guys not shooting at you and that haven’t killed loads of your medic mates….and probably your young family…. It’s the only sensible thing to do… Good for him
“The use of unlawful deceptions is called “perfidy.” Acts of perfidy are deceptions designed to invite the confidence of the enemy to lead him to believe that he is entitled to, or is obliged to accord, protected status under the law of armed conflict, with the intent to betray that confidence.”
“Perfidy constitutes a breach of the laws of war and so is a war crime, as it degrades the protections and mutual restraints developed in the interest of all parties, combatants and civilians.”
