This still confuses me, as I wasn’t aware these types of shells hit this hard( I don’t think the US ones do this or maybe I am just ignorant as I was not in artillery), i’d be pissed if my own people were shooting these around me, and here is a screen cap I took of the projectile. Granted it could be absolutely what it looks like, but there’s also probably plenty of those shells laying around if this is how they work. There was heaving fighting around the hospital and they were shooting off flares like crazy. Idk I’m gonna chalk this up to a big old I don’t know and those two are the most unlucky people in gaza that night as I highly doubt they are sniping people with flares.

  37. Even if an arty round is a dud it still has a shitload of kinetic energy. Hell, even a recoiling arty piece itself has enough KE to rip off one’s leg if you stand directly behind it when it fires.

    Have no idea what kind of projectile it is but it was heavy…
