  1. It’s ok though because it’s taxpayer money and Yousaf said it’s fine

  2. Hes also meant to notify parliament when he goes on holiday – which he didn’t do – so that they can check the data package is correct.

    Sitting smirking in parliament yesterday.

    What a wasteman.

  3. >”Officials accepted Matheson’s “assurances” that the iPad was used for official business only.”

Why? He’s clearly lied about the whole situation. Why was even doing any “official business” while away on holiday? He just didn’t care because he knew he wasn’t paying.

  4. Just think how differently this would’ve gone in the news if he’d held his hands up, accepted that he cocked up, put the whole £11k on his personal expenses so he can be pilloried for high expense claims, and made a personal donation to a local charity by way of apology?

  5. Start to finish this seems like an entirely shit way to handle IT to me.

He obviously should’ve did what was asked but why are we asking government ministers to change their own work iPad sim cards in the first place?

Hope to fuck we don’t just let them fuck about with the network settings and join any thrown together rando Hotel wifi they happened to be staying at.

  6. I mean, it’s not like these expenses are avoidable now. That just sucks, but people voted him into office, and now Scotland’s gotta pay up.
