1. It’s easy to become a bit blind to the day to day little tragedies of the war and focusing on casualties and the advances / retreats.

   The last line in this really got me, a nice normal persons contented life and lifetimes collection destroyed. For no reason.

    The shitty invaders that brought stolen items with them back home, still return to their shitty home in their shitty country, and now with a compromised integrity and morale as well.

    I won’t ask if it was worth it, because they would probably say yes and ask “what is this morale and integrity you talk of?”.
