Hello beautiful Swiss!

I’m very glad to announce a week-long cooperation between r/switzerland and us.

Who is us, you ask? We’re r/EuropeEats, and we noticed that so far not many posts with Swiss food have been published there. Mind you, I think I’m the only one posting such.

That’s a pity, as our cuisine certainly is quite interesting. I mean, just have a look at the Wiki page for [Swiss cuisine](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swiss_cuisine), there’s certainly more to it than *Fondue* and *Raclette* 😉

I’m thinking *Aargauer Rüebliturte, Capuns, Zürigschnetzlets, Schaffuuser Bölletünne, Cholermüs* (from Sheldon Cooper fame), *Cholera from Valais* (yep, that exists!)…

Courtesy of the mods from r/Switzerland, I invite you to show Europe (and the planet) what we eat in Switzerland. Be that breakfast, lunch or dinner, homemade or served: post pictures of our fabulous food in r/EuropeEats! (Neither videos nor link-only posts are allowed by that sub’s Automoderator though.)

There’s user flair with the Swiss flag, please use it if you’re Swiss, or we need to stalk your profile trying to find out! Or opt for your cantonal flag. Of course you are very much welcome to also post as a Non-Swiss, just use the appropriate user flair. (And submitters will be provided an exclusive mod-assigned Chef flair 😉

Don’t forget to say what your posted food is in the post title (it’s even a rule), as not everyone in, say, Lithuania may know what the images show.

Thank you very much in advance, Swiss gourmets! Looking forward to your pictures!

En guete!

PS: For some extra fun the mods of r/Switzerland played along and allowed this post to appear right after a cooperation with r/Sweden. Looking forward to some potentially confusing r/swedetzerland stuff 🙂
