I appreciate the concern, but I do wish we would put more focus on getting us off of carbon than stopping oil projects. This isn’t going to reduce oil consumption. it just changes where it comes from. I wish we spent more time and energy demanding that Congress reduces transmission upgrade hurdles. Let’s concentrate on what is slowing the transition, not wear the oil we use comes from. The environmental damage this does is negligible relative to what climate change is doing.
