It’s the same on all the delivery apps (Wolt, Just-Eat and Foodora) and it’s not only McDonalds unfortunately.
Same issue with a lot of restaurants. Some places a simple meal on Wolt costs 150 DKK. If you go to the restaurant the price is 90 DKK.

Why are they allowed to change the price of the items, doesn’t that technical make Volt a reseller?
Every restaurant i have looked up i see the prices are always higher using Wolt. I refuse to use them as takeaway prices are already ridiculously expensive here.
Same goes for every other delivery service like Just-eat etc.
I thought this was common knowledge. Wolt/Foodora is only for when you are drunk/hungover/stoned and you crave some junk food but can’t drive

We really need transparency in this area. Wolt charges an outrageous commission from restaurants, and customers are unaware of this.
It’s the same problem with transaction fees (kortgebyr). Stores are not allowed to charge customers directly, hence the fees are hidden out of sight.
It obscures the competition when customers are unaware of how much they are paying.

In defense of the OP when this was posted last year I suggested the restaurants increase the price but I was told in comments that it is against the Wolt terms of agreement – so this is not “the way it has been for years”. These comments really are contributing nothing.
Jeg prøvede at kontakte Wolt omkring det, og de sagde at de har en special aftale med kun Mcdonalds om at de kan have lov til at have højere priser. Alle andre steder burde være samme priser som hvis man tog til resturanten.
