As of October 2017, the total number of cars in Luxembourg was around 502K, whereas in October 2023, it increased to approximately 575K. Meanwhile, the number of EVs went from 1,512 to 23,491 – a 15-fold increase!
These are sad numbers. Almost 1 car per person. That is huge amounts of resources and carbon footprint. The govt needs work on reducing these numbers drastically. These numbers should go down lower than 0.4 cars per family.
