I was reading an article about TV lamps which said they were a exclusively a North American thing apart from a few Japanese makers. However I have come across lots of GDR ceramic TV lamps recently, very often ceramic birds. I have linked the type of lamp I’m referring to. Does anyone on this sub remember these being popular, or why there seems to be so many GDR bird lamps at that time in particular? Thanks! 🙂
