The geo quiz lets you choose a Swiss canton and drops you off in a random place within that canton. All you get is a Google street view panorama to find out where you are. Click on the map, put the marker where you think you are and see how you do.
You can compete with your friends locally or just explore with no time pressure.I made this because I was missing custom map support from the popular geogessr game and wanted a Swiss version of it. Turns out, it’s also a neat way of exploring new places and maybe get an idea for my next weekend trip.
The thing is fully open source, contributions and feedback is very welcome. As always, these pet projects are never 100% finished, but it’s at a state where it’s playable.
I don’t think this will blow up so feel free to login with the password “kürbis” for the full experience (or choose dev mode). If at some point my Google Maps bill gets too high, I’ll probably need to change that password though.

Edit: You can play on mobile but at least an iPad screen size is recommended. Desktop works best.
