Hell ya. Keep it up Gen Z. As a millenial, I’m stoked to see y’all stepping up
Hopefully they’ll turn out to vote. If they aren’t voting blue no matter who, they aren’t performing effective anti fascist praxis
DeSantis is alienating an entire generation of young people.
Wouldn’t it be nice if DeSantis’ presidential run is what costs the Republicans Florida?
Edit: and of course, remember to vote.
Oh we know. Like Al Sharpton said we are rising up and fighting back.
This would explain why there is 23,000 people leaving the state every month.
I feel like Florida wouldn’t be of reach in the presedential or ousting Scott, but unless the ground game and messaging in Miami-Dade gets fixed, then it seems pointless. Less and less Dems registered so we have to crush with independents more and more, which seems doable but we need to win back Latino and some Cuban vote.
As an older Gen Z Floridian who just a few years ago managed to break from the GOP propaganda that was constantly on in my house growing up (it started influencing my views in 2009 when I was 12), stuff like this really boosts my spirits. It’s *definitely* not going to be easy, but every week I feel a tiny bit more optimistic that Florida will at the very least become Purple again.
