Poland scores pretty low in terms of economic freedom, even compared to former Soviet republics – what are your thoughts about this?

  1. how is that calculated? Without a context you can put this map in trash.

  2. “Economic freedom index” is a meme pushed by investors and speculants

  3. How is this low? It’s higher than France and Italy. Almost as high as UK

  4. I think that economic freedom is very fuzzy and imprecise term. It just can be calculated to prove some thesis and be useless in objective context.

  5. My thoughts about it are that years of socialists rule before the war, then 40 years after the war then PiSocialists, have fucked up my people’s heads pretty hard.

  6. **”The Heritage Foundation** (sometimes referred to simply as **Heritage**) is an activist American [conservative](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservatism_in_the_United_States) [think tank](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Think_tank)” [1]

It also has ties with Trump[2].
So at best its “*economic freedom according to conservative right wing Americans*”.

  7. I feel like OP is picking on Poland. It’s not the lowest so what gives? I feel like this map is garbage.
