I am applying for a visa for my spouse and the application form asks me which category I belong to ( please check screenshot).
I hava EU Daueraufenthalt and I am not sure which category I belong to. It should be one of the last 4 categories but I am not sure which one. I read the laws but still couldn’t figure it out. Can some help me please?

None of those 4 are related to the EU PR permit. Section 38 is for former Germans and the other 3 are all work permits. Section 9a is your permit.

I guess you’re a foreign national? There aren’t any more options?
Unless you are a blue card holder, an EU national, or have permanent residence in another EU country, wouldn’t it just be “foreign national”?
The last three are very specifically based on your job, so you would be aware if your residence permit would be based on those.
The one marked in the picture (38a) applies to foreigners who have a permanent residence in *another* EU country, i.e. not in Germany.
