1. No longer shocked. The Tories used to be further left wing than the current Labour Party. Now they are the party of the far right racists and fascists..

2. That David Clews is described as a “former Scots Tory” councillor without any elaboration tells you all you need to know about where the *Record*’s politics lie. It’s not untrue, but its very far from the whole story:
