Hey Reddit, I recently read about a case that has been unsolved since 1997. It’s about a young woman between 18 and 22 who was murdered and burned in a forest in Germany in 1997.
A few months ago, a facial soft tissue reconstruction was made, which for the first time presents her potential face in great detail (I know it’s not 100% accurate). I think to myself: Someone must know them, right? A teacher, classmate, old friends… and what about her parents? I know the case is very old. But because of the good reconstruction of her face, I want to give it a try on Reddit.

And why am I posting this on r/Poland? In a [newspaper](https://www.sueddeutsche.de/panorama/kriminalitaet-altena-vergewaltigt-und-verbrannt-ermittler-rollen-mordfall-auf-dpa.urn-newsml-dpa-com-20090101-230727-99-556504) (in German) article it was mentioned that an isotope analysis was carried out. They found out that she had probably lived in the eastern part of Europe for 15 years. I’ll also post the case in other subs in the coming days.
