Tesla (Elon) needs to play by the rules of the Swedes and swallow their pride or see itself out which would be a total embarrassment to the company and culture he’s promoting.

Elon might want to look how Walmart fared when trying to import their crap into Germany.Culture matters, as do workers rights.
If you *really* wanted to make Elon squirm, start lobbying for the US Tesla employees to unionize.
Since Elon is a worm, it’s only fair you make sure he wriggles appropriately.
This is a business and a PR disaster for Tesla. Good on the Swedes for sticking up for themselves.
Sweden is not even producing any Teslas. I’m not sure this is something we should be supporting, they are basically trying to blackmail Tesla to pay them extra money for nothing.
Does every company that wants to sell anything now has to make a deal with every random union in every random country? How do I even start anything new in this world with a billion random people that I need to negotiate with?
Do I need to hire 10 lawyers for every single engineer? Do we really want to live in such a world? Is it optimal for anyone to have so many lawyers? I prefer to have 1 lawyer for 10+ engineers and not the other way around.
Elon is going to be have to taught, again, that Europe is not part of America.

Teslas reputation is already dead in Sweden and going to die soon enough if it doesn’t give in the rest of Scandinavia which share labor culture in general…
