Sad reality of mental health facilities. It takes a strong person to willingly subject yourself to other people’s madness and delusions day in and day out.
I have a loved one who has been in and out of mental health wards for decades. The most surprising thing is the wards are usually staffed by females. I’m sure they have men they can call to help deal with the violent patients but the fact that it’s usually women who are the frontline is concerning. It’s not surprising she was injured hundreds of times unfortunately.
