Good for him. I hope he survives the war and returns home to a better Russia after Putler’s demise.
Imagine he was actually a suicide bomber
Smart!
The smartest thing he could do.
Choose Life!
He chose life over 72 Putins. Smart!
It’s a smart decision to surrender, but I am a little bit shocked that he isn’t even patted down by the Ukrainian soldiers, he could still wear weapons to harm them. They should prioritize their safety in these situations.
Edit: I didn’t notice and realize that the Ukrainian soldiers are in a very open position.
It’s probably smarter to get to a safe area first and then pat down the Russian soldier.
Could be a conscripted Ukrainian from Crimea or Donbass
The sad thing is that these guys who risk their lives *not to kill Ukrainians* still AFAIK get sent back to Russia. I don’t care if he’s a shit person, he did the right thing and doesn’t deserve to be pushed back onto the Russian front lines to be pushed to commit atrocities again.
I’m sure it has to happen because Ukrainian POWs are kinda more important, never having fought for a tyrant but… Unfortunate.
Run Forrest, Run….
Smart
No bag of onions for his wife
Brave Ukrainian guiding the prisoner in.
Can’t wait to surrender.
Perfect music score.
The more this happens and gets coverage the more I think we will see Russians taking up the option to surrender or at least walk away like the other guy did. At some point I think the Russian soldiers moral is just going to collapse beyond repair.
Man they need to remove team switching from this game, too unbalanced. /s
After seeing this dude book it across and open field to surrender and [the guy who was seen by a drone walking back to Russia](https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/s/8ai3O5caSo), more of the invader should follow in their footsteps.
Literally running for his life, smart man
Clever guy
He heard there was free sausages and wanted to get one that was still hot.
He chose life, and I hope for him the war is now definitely over.
