  1. Removing one of the most beautiful aspects about mosta, harming the wildlife in the process.

Instead they should have looked at using the money for fixing the awful mismatched architecture of the buildings around the square. If there were proper planning requirements for all buildings in a street to look the same/match Malta would be so much more beautiful.

  2. I’m done. I won’t fight this anymore. I don’t see a way out. I give up.
It’s the best time to leave the country….forever.

  3. This disgusted me, I have seen those trees since i was 10 Years old, i am now 50.. Always liked taking pics of these trees every visit to Malta to see family. Now , no more.. very sad indeed

  4. One of the many reasons I left this concrete dystopia. This is my home town.

It was such a nice feature, destroyed. The amount of people that sat under the shade of those trees, had conversations under those trees. People were able to wait for the bus without having to offload a bucket of sweat standing under the scorching sun like the rest of the bus stops around.
The symphonies of the birds, which now have to find elsewhere to perch.

Fuck the clowns that manage this island and the localities.
