Honestly, in my opinion, their midfield is nowhere near us. Rodri, Stones, Foden, Alvarez or Kovacic are above the levels of Szoboszlai, McAllister, Jones or Gravenberch. Even Fabinho, Henderson and Milner were completely dominated last season at the Etihad.
What do you think about our midfield? I think if we have stones after the break then we have the upper hand to dominate them at home.
Thinking VVD is good enough to make their team invincible is definitely ignoring his overall career trajectory.
But yeah, Stones and Rodri would bully their midfield and none of them are getting close to Foden or Silva.
