Boxing Day hunt descends into violence amid chaotic protest

  1. Sad again that the sabs/anti hunting demonstrators let themselves be set upon by the mob of nutters.

You’ve got a common law right to defend yourself with reasonable and proportionate force. Waving signs and angrily complaining to a sole, out numbered copper when you’ve just gone into a scrap you were avoidably unprepared for is not the best way to do things.

These people are thugs who get off on causing pain to animals, go prepared for them to be confrontational and violent.

  2. Could someone clarify something about this please? Apart from the people on horses setting off for the hunt (I guess), what are the other pro hunt people doing there? Are they hired henchmen? What is the point of being pro hint of you’re not on the horse?

  3. How they can still allow fox hunting in this day and age is beyond me.

Can’t these pricks find another hobby that doesn’t involve pointlessly hunting and torturing an animal?

Everyone else in the country manages to.

  4. It’s almost like there’s a link between engaging in dressed-up zoosadism and violence towards other people.

  5. Such entitled psycopathic pricks.

They don’t think the law applies to them because more often than not if you have enough wealth, status and privilege it doesn’t.

Would be delightful if they all fell off their horses and broke their necks.

  6. Hunting is violent. It doesnt descend into violence. It is violence.

Edit: ive been permabanned by the mods. So, according to them wishing death on animals is fine. Wishing death on those who wish death on animals is not (even in the context of ‘I hope they fall of their horse”).

Mods were also eager to explain that yes, wishing death on nazis and isis fighters is also a bannable offence.

Then the cheeky gits made a personal insult about my “key stage reading level” and added a 28 date mute preventing me from replying.

Enjoy the sub. Where its ok to celebrate the killing of animals but not ISIS fighters.

  7. Those toffs on their horses with their shiny red blazers and sparkly black boots. Who dresses like that? Do these toffs live in council houses?

  8. ‘Police were also at the scene to mitigate the fight and calm the situation.”

Lol. A retired policeman was on that tape talking about how to hide hunting foxes with dogs as trail hunting. The amount of violence hunters get away with towards protesters is shocking. How entitled hunters feel to whip, kick and attack protesters is another thing altogether. They know the police will never act to hold them responsible for the violence they commit.

  9. If it’s a “sport” then surely the protestors are just making it fair, giving the hunters a chance to lose n get hurt.

Frankly many wouldn’t be so against for hunting if it just one twat in red running around a field trying to catch a fox unarmed…

  10. Ricky Gervais explained Fox Hunting perfectly with this quote: “Imagine a group of thugs set a pack of dogs on a terrified animal for a laugh. Now imagine they’re posh people on horseback”

  11. I have the solution, let them hunt.

BUT! first, they have to agree to be chased 10 miles cross country, naked with a pack dogs on their heels and angry people on horses with big sticks who beat them if they stop, when they are finally caught after running ten miles , they are beaten purple, tarred and feathered and then have to pay 20K to a wildlife charity.

If they think it’s worth it to chase a fox after that, let them, on the proviso that they have to eat the dead fox raw, fur, bowels and their contents, bones, skin, eyes, teeth, balls …every scrap and morsel.

If they choose not to participate, that’s alright too, nobody would force them to do this, but if they wanted to fox hunt- that’s the price.

I think that’s a fair way to do this.

    What do you think?

  12. You can be arrested and charged with going equipped to commit theft or burglary. You don’t have to actually be caught in the act of stealing or in possession of stolen property. You can be arrested, charged and prosecuted for just having the kit. Fox hunting with hounds is illegal. If you show up with your mates, on horseback, dressed in a fox hunting costume, with a pack of fox hounds, you should be arrested, charged and prosecuted too, because you’re most likely hunting, and everyone knows all the trail hunting bollocks is bullshit. I also understand you can be arrested and charged with behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace, which this obviously is. These people are taking the piss and everyone knows it, which is why they have to resort to violence, as they can’t defend themselves any other way.

  13. Lacock was on Countryfile today. The BBC portraying a very farmer-led view of the countryside. Nothing like this, perish the thought!

  14. If you enjoying hunting for sport you’re a ****, end of really.

Good for the protesters. It’s an abhorrent act

  15. Looks like a bunch of posh bullies, picking on those that they view as weaker or smaller than them. Would a show of over whelming force help here?

I detest bullies and people pushing, hitting and throwing (what looked like milled wine) at people who are not fighting back.

  16. >Police were also at the scene to mitigate the fight and calm the situation.

Reads like they were refereeing it. I hope the hunt cunts got a good beating.

  17. Police made no arrests. You can bet if exactly the same level of violence had been filmed in any other context, arrests would have been made. The uniform of Barber jacket and cloth cap makes all the difference.

  18. Oh wow, once again Tory voters are showing themselves to be the psychopaths that they truly are. Football is a sport, cricket is a sport, torturing animals is not a fucking sport.

  19. Fucking hate these posh pricks. How do you get enjoyment out of chasing a terrified fox and seeing it get ripped apart by hounds. Fuck these stupid cunts

  20. An interesting approach to dealing with this might be to lobby for the introduction of bear baiting, cock fighting and hare coursing etc and see what arguments Tories this throw out against those poor people bloodsports.

  21. When someone tells you fox hunting is a traditional way of getting rid of pests, ask them why people would import the foxes from neighbouring counties.

The only thing of value that fox hunting has brought is a collection of chorus songs.

  22. They all know where the fox dens are so it’s no accident when the dogs find a real scent.
The hunt is just a ridiculously inefficient charade for a posh jolly. if foxes were the threat they claim they would be extinct centuries ago & this method of killing them was outdated the day the rifle was invented. It’s not about vermin control & never was. It’s just fun to twat about on a horse with your mates who own everything before having a big dinner that consists of absolutly nothing you’ve spent all day chasing, ever.

  23. More instances of the police being absolutely useless when it comes to standing up tot heir betters.

Garbage the whole force of em.
