David Cameron is not the change Scots are seeking

  1. English politics is a straight fight between the far right and the right. Anything left wing has been demonised so much that it is political poison in England to even allude to progressive legislation.

When the tories and Boris purged all the moderates, the gap for traditional conservatism, now light Thatcherism, was left to Starmer to reap. Now the fight is on because the far right is being edged out the door and the fight is on the street for the pulled and stretched tory traditional vote.

It is desperate fantasy for Scots to imagine that out of that fight for no.10 we would be given the slightest consideration outwith the wheelclamping of Holyrood.

Competent conservatism is all Starmer can offer. He isn’t even pretending otherwise. He knows the tories are blowing it attempting to open the door with US Republican style fascism so he fills the gap.

Labour aren’t standing in any traditional sense anymore. Listen and they’ll tell you.

  2. We don’t need your Jedi mind tricks here. We know he’s a prick..

  3. The idea that we wanna see a guy that scaremongered our entire elderly nation into staying in a union that over the last near decade since has done nothing but fist fuck our quality of life even deeper into the core of the earth. I hope this cunt gets hit by a bus.

  4. A critique shared by the Welsh, Northern Irish and English – but, a GE is on the horizon, and the wee Regional Assemblies in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland can observe the machinations of the U.K. Government/Parliament at Westminister at their leisure. The Wee Regional Assemblies aren’t a Government/Parliament, sadly. Just Regional Assemblies.

  5. Only change i want for Scotland is the SNP to GTF! You don’t speak for me as a Scot.

  6. Surely it’s good for entertainment value. I laughed when it got announced. Haven’t done that for a while

  7. Remember he came out on the morning of the referendum result and announced English Votes for English laws.

It was in jaw dropping bad taste at the time.
