Correct, it’s our duty to call this out as decent human beings. This remains the case even if we are personally powerless to stop this.
Those who vote against ceasefire are voting for the slaughter of children and innocents. Remember them, take their names, write to them, make sure they always know and always remember they are guilty of genocide.
This article makes no reference to several key points:
1. The fact Hamas are still holding onto hostages and are using civilians as human shields.
2. No mention of the removal of Hamas from being the government of Gaza.
3. And again no reference to the fact that Hamas have openly said they will repeat Oct 7th attacks and won’t respect a ceasefire.
I’m not here to condone the atrocities in Gaza. But this article very much fails to realise why we are here. It’s because of the terrorist attacks from Hamas who are in power towards Israel. How does the SNP expect Israel to negotiate peace with these barbaric animals?
The only solution that can result in long term peace is the removal of the terrorist organisation Hamas. We should be calling for a complete and total surrender by them to protect civilian life. If they won’t surrender, then Israel are going to remove them.
As the article itself states many ceasefires have been achieved before. Which means that many ceasefires have been broken… why should people believe this time will be different.
