7. Is it possible that some of them are in ICU but for some medical reason they can’t get the jabs? I’m not sure what would make people exempt but they’d have to have something very wrong with them anyway.

I said it earlier and I’ll say it again, yesterday Fauci was in the news for stating that the term “fully vaccinated” won’t be used and instead we’ll use “up-to-date shots” meaning that if we don’t keep getting boosters we’ll be called the unvaccinated. I will be labelled with that term because I will in my hole keep getting boosters just so I can have a tiny bit more freedom for a few months. They can fuck off.

    I would think anyone admitted to hospital, regardless of the injury would be tested for Covid.

    Are 100% of covid icu admissions 80 years old plus?

    It’s a waste of energy getting riled up at young people not getting vaccinated if it makes zero difference to these numbers

15. Before anyone says it, 51% does not mean that the 49% is equal in seriousness.

    Look up probability, that’s a major factor.

16. Just to make it easy for those confused by the % of the ICU, here is the maths and how the HSE figures work in ICU % in the simplest form.

    10 people are unvaccinated
    100 people are vaccinated

    There is 10 people in the ICU currently

    50% are unvaccinated and 50% are vaccinated in ICU

    Going by the figures above, it would be the following amount from each group that is in the ICU.

    5 people unvaccinated out of 10 (50% of the unvaccinated group)

    5 people vaccinated out of 100 (5% of the vaccinated group)

    Therefore the unvaccinated group has a larger number of people in the ICU compared to those that are vaccinated.

18. There’s been roughly six thousand deaths but over five thousand of those weren’t even admitted to ICU. I think there’s a presumption in Ireland that the people who are dying are largely dying in ICU choking to death or struggling to breathe. That isn’t the case.
