Very strong words from Simon Harris in the Dáil today. He says Israel is now engaged in a “war on children” and seems, to him; to be “blinded by rage”. “You cannot build peace on the graves of children.”

Very strong words indeed!!! Didn’t expect it from fg to be honest. Leo kinda dipped his toe in last week with the revenge comment also. Interesting to see how this plays out.

Well said Simon,a war on babies is not a war it is genocide,2 wrongs never made a right but Israel must be held to account.
He’s absolutely correct.
He is 100% spot on.
Well said
Can’t wait for this to be posted in r/Europe. I’ll have my popcorn ready
I guess his advisors have had their few weeks to figure out which way the wind of public opinion has been blowing.
Nice one Simon.
He’s 100% correct here, and fair play to him for saying it.
Fair play to him.
Words words words words. Free and make ya feel better about yourself.
Would rather a government of action action action action. Do something about it and stop repeating the same soundbites to sound like you actually relate to the electorate.
Sanctions. Ending of diplomatic relations. Use our soft power to apply some pressure elsewhere for a ceasefire etc. Personally I’m sick of them coming out with critical statements and then going on to completely sit on their hands about it.
Does anyone actually believe he gives a fuck? He is just seeing which way the wind is blowing. The dude is a snake.
I wonder will he spout that when the American MNC start leaving
Thank f*ck finally some of our politicians are starting to make sense. Very late too but its a badly needed start
