Them using actual 17/18 year olds really reinforces my idea that “dopen” rituelen should be abolished altogether. It is simply too easy to use the format to take advantage of people.

I had my studentendoop and it was vettig, prettig en wettig
No schachtenverkooop or anything
It was fun and the organizers weren´t trying to humiliate while still keeping it vettig
My doop from a youth orginisation was very humiliating and outright not fun though so it really depends on who does it for what reasons
